4 simple steps – sustainable holographic technology – full process description
Cast & Cure process is simple, fast and eco friendly. UV lacquer is applied on paper/board, holographic film is nipped under pressure, UV light cures coating transferring holographic image to board, film is peeled off and reused multiple times. No plastic waste, board remains recyclable.
UV Coating Application
Special UV lacquer is applied on paper/board substrate 100-500 GSM via coating unit on printing press inline.
Nip with Holographic Film
Holographic film with desired pattern is nipped with coated paper under pressure in nip roller – image contact.
UV Curing & Transfer
UV light instantly cures coating – holographic image is transferred and hardened on paper surface permanently.
Film Peels Off & Reused
Holographic film peels off cleanly and is reused 10-15 times – board gets premium holographic rainbow effect without plastic.
